Mallorca’s south: fantastic location close to the airport!
Unlike the rest of Mallorca, the south is relatively sparsely populated and there are only a few holiday resorts. Some of the best known resorts are Badia Blava, Cala Pi, Sa Ràpita, Colònia Sant Jordi, Cala LLombards, Santanyí and Cala Santanyí.
Unfortunately, no suitable offers found in the selected region.
As in other parts of Mallorca, the beaches are magnificent and the main attraction. Es Trenc, for example, is a beautiful two-kilometre-long beach of gently sloping white sand with dunes in the background. Other unspoilt coves in nature reserves are also wonderful destinations. In the south you can enjoy many water sports, such as kite surfing and stand-up paddling at Can Pastilla, or jet skiing and paragliding at El Arenal. The possibilities are endless.
The towns are very authentic and dreamy. One of the largest organic farms in the Balearics, Es Fangar, welcomes visitors and offers guided tours and wine tastings.
The Cabrera archipelago is well worth a visit. It is one of the national parks off the south coast and is open to visitors. In summer there are daily boat trips from the port of Colònia de Sant Jordi. There is a small fort and museum on the main island, but you can also swim and snorkel in the blue grotto. If you want to visit the archipelago, make sure you book well in advance, as only 50 people are allowed on the island each day. Another national park in the southeast of Mallorca is Mondragó. This is a park populated by a variety of exotic birds.
There are also many small fishing villages in the south, each with its own charm. The properties offered are a varied mix, ensuring that everyone can find something to suit them.
