Buying properties in Cala Pi
Most real estate investors use their properties in Cala Pi as second homes or holiday residences, with few living here year-round. Apartment and townhouse prices are in the mid-range, starting from 100,000 euros. Penthouses and smaller villas are available from 400,000 euros. For villas by the sea, you should budget more than a million euros. Depending on the amenities and exact location, a villa can cost up to three million euros. Fincas are rare here; they are mostly found further north and in the rural regions of Mallorca.
Cala Pi is the oldest known settlement on Mallorca. While today it lies off the beaten path of mass tourism and is considered a hidden gem, it was once a popular destination. The settlement remains sparsely populated, but like its neighboring town Vallgornera, it is primarily a holiday resort. The atmosphere here is definitely quieter and more relaxed than in other regions.

The bay of Cala Pi
The bay of Cala Pi is a wonderful little cove. It is accessible only via steep steps and is surrounded by pine-covered cliffs. The water here is turquoise-blue and crystal-clear, shallow, and almost wave-free. The cliffs rise over 30 meters on both sides. The bay has a natural harbor, and the fine white sand completes the view.
Cala Pi is also suitable for hikers. The town offers many beautiful hiking trails, many of which lead directly around the bay, making it perfect for a swimming break. If you are looking for relaxation, the picturesque villa settlements are the perfect place to visit.
