Properties in Cala Murada – charming holiday resort in the Southeast of Mallorca

Cala Murada is a small, quiet holiday resort in the southeast of Mallorca, located on the coast between Portocolom and Calas de Mallorca. Although the town of Felanitx is nearby, Cala Murada belongs to the coastal area of the municipality of Manacor, the third-largest municipality on the island. This coastal strip is known for its beautiful sandy beaches and coves, stretching across a roughly 6 km long area of untouched natural landscape.

The distance from Cala Murada to the island's airport in Palma is approximately 65 km. Thanks to well-developed roads and highway connections, the drive to the island's capital takes just under an hour. The town itself offers good infrastructure with mostly year-round restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and shops for daily needs.

Originally a pure fishing harbor, Cala Murada is now known for its safe sandy beach and impressive, rugged coastline. The town is very quiet and far from noise and hustle. While Cala Murada is no longer a well-kept secret, there are still no large hotel complexes, and the influx of visitors during the summer months is not too overwhelming. People come here to escape the heavily visited tourist spots.
